ProfilUp in ChatGPT and Claude

Ask your assistant “Optimize my LinkedIn for a Machine Learning Engineer role”: ProfilUp reads your profile, analyzes it, suggests field-by-field rewrites and, once you approve, applies them to LinkedIn through the Chrome extension.

Connect

  1. Create a ProfilUp account (Google or email code) and install the ProfilUp Chrome extension.
  2. Open your LinkedIn profile and click the “ProfilUp” button: your profile is synced to your account.
  3. In Claude: Settings → Connectors → ProfilUp → Connect. In ChatGPT: Apps → ProfilUp → Connect.
  4. Allow access on the profilup.co page that opens. You can remove it at any time from your dashboard.

What the assistant can do

  • Read my LinkedIn profile — Headline, about, experience, education and skills synced by the extension.
  • Analyze my profile — Score out of 100, strengths, weaknesses, missing keywords for the target role. Free.
  • Suggest an optimization — New versions of the headline, about, experience and skills, with before, after and why. Changes nothing.
  • Apply to LinkedIn — After you confirm in the chat, the extension shows the changes and waits for your final approval before writing. Pro plan.
  • Cancel / revert — Cancel a proposal, or prepare a revert to the original texts.
  • My plan — Your ProfilUp plan and what it includes.
  • Find job offers — Offers ranked against your profile (Job Radar).

Safety

  • ProfilUp never sees your LinkedIn password: the extension acts in your browser, with your session.
  • Nothing changes on LinkedIn without two confirmations: in the chat, then in the extension.
  • The assistant cannot make up the text that gets applied: only text proposed by ProfilUp and approved by you is written.
  • Every action is logged; you can cancel or revert to the original texts.

Plans

The analysis and the optimized headline preview are free. The full rewrite and applying changes directly to LinkedIn depend on your ProfilUp plan, managed only on profilup.co.
