How job alerts work
Alerts automate Job Radar: instead of running a scan manually, a daily scan runs in the background and emails you as soon as it finds relevant listings.
- 1You set your criteria once: target roles, location, remote work preference.
- 2Every day, an automatic scan queries the same sources as Job Radar (Adzuna, JSearch, and about thirty others) based on your criteria.
- 3A keyword filter removes noise, then an AI expansion of job titles widens the search to the actual titles used in the market — not just the exact keyword you typed.
- 4You get a summary email of new listings, never seeing a listing already shown in a previous run.
Example: you're looking for "Project Manager" in Lyon. The daily alert also surfaces listings titled "Chef de projet" or "Responsable de projets" — equivalent titles a plain email alert based on an exact keyword match would have missed.
Frequently asked questions
Are job alerts available for free?
No, email alerts are reserved for the Boost (€4.90 lifetime) and Pro (€14.90/month) plans. The Free plan can use Job Radar by running manual scans.
How often are alerts sent?
The scan runs once a day. You only get an email if it finds new listings matching your criteria — no spam on quiet days.
Can I change my criteria after creating an alert?
Yes, you can adjust target roles, location, and remote work preference at any time from your dashboard.
Do listings from alerts end up in my tracker?
You can send any listing received via alert to your application tracker in one click, exactly like from a manual Job Radar scan.
